    Since April 2018, NHK WORLD, the international broadcasting service of NHK, made a fresh start as NHK WORLD-JAPAN. In Singapore, the channel is available on both Singtel and Starhub.

    At our JPSG booth, we’ll be featuring the video portal site of “Travel Japan”, which introduces the tourist spots, food and scenery from 47 prefectures of Japan. Other popular videos from the NHK WORLD-JAPAN content would also be available on the touch panels.

    From spectacular nature’s wonders to ancient cities and Japanese traditional cuisines, you can experience the charm of Japan from the contents available at our booth. Our official mascot, Domo, will also be waiting for you to come by. See you there!

  • Fukuoka City

    With characteristic geographical and historical backdrop, Fukuoka City is a place where it’s influenced by a variety of Asian cultures. The interactions with Asia support and build Fukuoka City’s development, bringing forth new worth and merit to the city. Fukuoka City have many foreign travellers visit every year and host a range of events. It’s said to be one of the liveliest local city.


    In September every year, Fukuoka City hosts an event called, “The Creators”. It is an event which visitors can have hands-on experience and interact with the fusion of Asian Culture and Creativity. Besides that, Fukuoka City will also be hosting many other international events, including Rugby World Cup in 2019 and 2021 World Aquatics Championships.


    At JPSG, we will be promoting the events that are being hosted by Fukuoka City. Hope to see you there!

  • Shizuoka Prefecture

    The Home of Mt. Fuji, Shizuoka Prefecture, is famous for its hot springs at “Izu”. The hot spring experience will be recreated at Japan Park Singapore!
    With the majestic Mt. Fuji in the background, please come over to the Shizuoka booth to experience the Ashi-Yu (foot spa). Also, you can sample for free “Shizuoka-cha” and the delectable Shizuoka snack “COCCO”!

    Daruma of Japan that Takasaki city boasts to the world!

    Takasaki City, located 1 hour away from central Tokyo, is a lot quieter and more laid back than Tokyo, with a good mix of the city and the countryside.

    It has a lot to offer to tourists, from sightseeing destinations to local foods and unique culture, like the Daruma Wishing Doll. Singapore has been a friend to us – we were featured in “Ramen Teh”, a Singaporean movie, and a Singaporean artist even created a Merlion-inspired Daruma Wishing Doll.

    We will bring to JPSG many things from Takasaki City that we can enjoy in our daily life. We look forward to seeing friends in Singapore enjoy them too!

    Ishikawa Prefecture is a region that has kept alive traditional crafts and the unique culture inherited from more than 400 years ago. Not only can visitors experience a traditional craft technique that has been largely incorporated into modern living, there will also be a sale of crafts that are widely popular within and without Japan.

    Gold leaf production is one of the most representative craft of Ishikawa Prefecture – about 99% of all gold leaf in Japan is produced in Ishikawa. Visitors will be able to use these gold leaves to make an original, one-of-a-kind coaster of their own at the booth.
